Course Aims
The course aims to provide students who are working in health and aged care, whatever their professional background, with the opportunity to acquire deeper knowledge and enhanced skills in health management.
The course builds on the students’ current workplace experience and promotes the application of management theories to existing problems.
This strong industry focus is aimed at delivering direct benefits to students through knowledge and to workplaces through its application.
The course introduces students to some core competencies, successful completion of which will better equip them to carry out management tasks and allow them to proceed to further graduate level coursework.

Duration
12 months part-time.
Entry Requirements
Age: 21 years old
Language: Students must have an English proficiency of 72 TOEFL (Writing 18 and Speaking 18), IEL TS 6.0 (Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0), PTE Academic 50 overall (Writing 50 and Speaking 50), and CAE Pass grade of B2, or equivalent.
Academic: Applicants must normally hold a degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. The Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
In addition, applicants must have not less than two years’ professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of the degree or equivalent qualification.
