(awarded by Swinburne University of Technology)

Our Senior Counselling Interns receive clinical supervision from experienced counsellors and are guided by ECTA’s core values of Professionalism, Resilience, Integrity, Dedication and Ethics.

The venue for Face-to-Face counselling will be at 1 Kay Siang Road, #08-01, Singapore 248922.
Strict safety measures are implemented.

CODE OF ETHICS

Our Senior Counselling Interns will not undertake cases in which a client presents significant risk of harm to self or to others. Similarly, in cases where the client’s issue is beyond the scope of their training or competence, the senior Counselling Intern will refer the client to an appropriate mental health professional.

Information shared by a client during a counselling session will be treated with professional standards of ethics and confidentiality. The client’s information will be disclosed only:
– With the Clinical Supervisor, as part of the Counselling Intern’s professional development, and actual names will not be used;
– Where a referral is required, with the client’s consent;
– Where there is significant risk of harm to self or others; and/or;
– When required by law
